Edge Routers
GridSecure uses industrial edge routers to connect remote assets into secure managed networks. These devices bridge the gap between the WAN service and the operational equipment on site.
For many deployments we use Teltonika routers because they are rugged, compact and flexible enough to support real-world utility environments where standard ISP routers are not always suitable.

Teltonika edge hardware
We typically use rugged Teltonika industrial routers because they are compact, DIN mountable, remotely configurable and well suited to utility and field environments.
WAN handoff bridging
The router can sit behind FTTP, SoGEA, Starlink, mobile or customer-owned WAN services and bring the site into the GridNet overlay.
Legacy device support
Depending on the model and site design, edge hardware can support Ethernet, serial conversion, Modbus, DLMS and other industrial communications requirements.
Remote operations
Once connected, GridSecure can monitor status, support diagnostics and apply controlled configuration changes without unnecessary site visits.
Managed edge routers turn a basic WAN connection into a supportable operational service. GridSecure can monitor network status, support diagnostics, provide controlled access and help identify whether faults sit with the WAN, the router, the site equipment or the wider network.
