Every site is different. GridSecure uses a range of industrial edge hardware, routing methods and local connectivity options to bridge between the WAN service and the operational device.
These examples show some of the common ways a typical GridSecure deployment may be built, from simple Ethernet devices through to legacy serial equipment and industrial protocol integrations.
Hardware and topology
The right configuration depends on the asset.
Some devices already support Ethernet. Others rely on older serial protocols, local cabling, wireless links or industrial fieldbus communications. GridSecure selects the appropriate hardware and network design around the site conditions and the device requirement.
